I Wish Flip Album

I thought I would just show you the I Wish Class Project as I have been doing Christmas Cards lately....

Remember the Flip Album I maded using the Love Stories Scrapbooking Kit.

Well this is a Flip Album again to show off your Christmas Photos. It would make a lovely gift to Grandparents or Mum's and Dad's. Even children will love turn the pages of this Album.

I made the whole Album from Half a pack of the I Wish Scrapbook Kit. You are left over with lots of stickers so I will have to make some bits and bobs with those to show as well.

As you untie the ribbon, You see this first.

Open up the next section and You will see this.

When the Album is fully open, This is what it looks like. Can you see I didn't need to STAMP:-(

Then finally in the middle you see the hidden section.

You can add journalling and 4" x 4" photos when you have finished the Album.
When the Album is all folded up it looks as shown above. All the cardstock is textured and I keep wanting to stroke it, :-)
I am doing a Special Offer for this Project.

Silent Night Stamp Class......

Are you fed up with my Christmas Cards yet? I must admit I have been really enjoying making them. Especially this one. I love old churches. They always seem to be such gorgeous buildings. The bells in the church near our Allotment were ringing this morning while I was spreading muck! Its such a warming sound. I think the colours used for these cards are warm as well. They are Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, Ruby Red and Very Vanilla.

I combined the Silent Night Stamp Set with Snowburst and Circle of Friendship.
For this Z fold card, I coloured in the church scene with SU markers. The paper is from the Patterned Paper set you could get as Hostess Benefits and the ribbon is Mellow Moss Taffeta ribbon. The ribbon was wrapped around the paper layer and a hodge podge ribbon buckle was added to the centre. Inside is stamped with Snowburst snowflakes and the sentiment from Silent Night.

This is the same Gift bag which we will make on Tuesday but in the warm colours. The pearls are from the Pretties Kit.

Dazzling Diamonds glitter was added to the scene with a quickie glue pen.

Hee Hee can you see the snowflakes on the church. They are punched out using the Boho Blossum Flower Punch. Check it out, it matches the snowflake perfectly.

Another pocket card. The scene is cut out using the Petite Oval Nesties. The circle of friendship is punched out using the 1" circle punch and layered onto a 1 1/4" circle punch. I added white dots on the outer layer with a white gel pen.

This is the inside when you pull on the tab, which is made using the Round Tab Punch.

Anyway, Hope you are having a good weekend. I hope to get some more projects done this week.

Silent Night Stamp Class.....

More Blues........Sorry but I just adore a Blue combination at Christmas. I think its because it looks so crisp and bright like Snow!

The stamp set is Silent Night. It really is a gorgeous Stamp Set. We will make a Gift Bag and two cards. One is a Pocket card and the other one is a Z Card. The cardstock used is Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, and Whisper White.

The Snowburt stamp set was also used on the Pocket Card.
This is the inside, such a lovely sentiment.

The circle of friendship stamp set is used on both cards and punched out using the 1" circle punch. Its layered up with the 1 1/4" circle punch.

For the Gift bag, I used Brocade Blue. You can actually get a fair amount inside the bag. Makes a lovely Gift set with the matching cards.

Another Label Nestie was used to cut out the church. Night of Navy was used to outline the label. I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the scene - That Glitter certainly does make it Dazzle.......
Well the Boys have finished School for another Year! I don't know where they all go!
I can't believe my eldest will be starting his GCSE's in September and my youngest will be taking a GCSE early next year as well. Both growing up Bless them. I have just spent 4 hours putting together a new bed base for my eldest. There were 120 screws........Shattered now but he was so pleased with it. I tried it out and I could have just fallen asleep!!!! Early night I think.
Anyway enough of me waffling,

Big Shot Wreath.......with a Touch of Nature.

We had our planning meeting at Craft Club on Monday Evening and Sue had brought in a picture of the Big Shot Wreath to show us. Well! I had found this beautiful wreath over at Splitcoast Stampers and I had planned to make one in the Summer.......Mmm! Couldn't Wait. So here is my version, I used a mixture of both Wreath ideas. Just type in BIG SHOT WREATHS in the Search on the Gallery Section and all the Wreaths will come up.

You can also visit The Blog here.

I used the white backing sheets that come in Stampin UP Designer 12 x 12 Paper Packs. I used tombow to glue two together. I used two plates to make the circles.

I covered them in So Saffron Designer Paper. The bigshot dies used are Leaves #2 & Daisies. The Daisies are all Whisper White Cardstock and the leaves are a mixture of Old Olive & Chocolate Chip Designer paper. Some of the Old Olive leaves are the Textured cardstock as well. The buttons are the Designer ones in the Mini Catalogue 115312 Button Latte.

I used Chipboard letters from SU and coloured them with white stazon using a daubler. Then I added versamark ink, heat & stick powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

The butterflies are from A Touch of Nature Stamp Set, stamped in Ruby Red and Regal Rose.

I added some So SAFFRON 5/8" ribbon to the top to hang it up. I really enjoyed making this, even though my hubbie though I have gone completely Mad!
Its nice to decorate your Craft Room with pieces you have hand made and the colours are so Summery as well.......What will you be making next?

Jenny:-)xx

Winter Post in Blues.......

These are all the other cards I made using the Winter Post Stamp Set. The colourway is Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue, Creamy Caramel and Whisper White.
I used the labels One set with the Largest one for the Not Quite Navy layer. The next layer was embossed with the impressionable Snowflake one. The snowflake was stamped in Not Quite Navy on Whisper white and cut out. A few pearls were added to decorate.

This is an Acetate card. I have used the transparent sheets from Staples, 100 sheets for £14 ish.
I stamped the Acetate with White Stazon using the Snowflake. More Nesties are using to Decorate the back and front. You need to put one either side of front and back layers. Therefore you need 4. I used the Markers on the Sentiment stamp to get the two tone colours, which was covered with a Hodge Podge Frame. Blue Taffeta and Blue Gingham ribbon were added around the Acetate and tied in a bow.

The inside was stamped with the snowflakes.

Heat and Stick Powder was used to create this glittery scene. The trees are from the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set. I stamped the lady and man first, then again on some post it notes. I cut out the post it note image, cutting it just inside the image. Lay the post it note image over the original and then stamp the trees. Remove the post it note and colour with marker pens.

The bottom has some Bashful blue designer paper and Blue Taffeta ribbon.

This would make such a quick card to reproduce. The deer is stamped in Chocolate Chip and the snowflakes are stamped in bashful blue. This was layered onto some Not Quite Navy cardstock. Along the top some Chocolate Chip Taffeta ribbon was wrapped around before adhering the deer layers.

This is very similiar card to the one above but I stamped the three deers in Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip.

This is the inside of the deer cards.

Winter Post Stamp Class.......

Its another Christmas Class this week. This Stamp Set is in the Mini Catalogue. The cards are really quick ones and they would be easy to make a few of them at the same time.

The colourway is Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa and Creamy Caramel cardstock. The tiny bit of designer paper is from Holiday Treasures.
I made the box to fit some Chocolates and the nesties are Label 3. Hey! Have you seen all the new Nestabilities that will be released in the Summer. The hodge podge frames fit the Do Not Open Til Dec 25 perfectly. The ribbon is Kraft Taffeta.

See the box fits 4 of the Chocolates.

One of the Quick cards. The background is Snowflake embossing folder from cuttlebug. I stamped the deer in Chocolate Chip and the snowflakes in Creamy Caramel. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip Taffeta ribbon and the sentiment is from Seasonal Greetings Stamp Set.

What a lovely scene! Masking technique was used to do this card. The trees are from the Stamp Set Lovely as a Tree and the paper is Holiday Treasures.
I sell all my Class Instructions for £2.50, so drop me an Email if you are interested in any of them. You can find them on my Blog under Stamp Classes Label on the Right.
I have made more using this Stamp Set, so check back later when its light enough to photograph them.

A Rose Is A Rose........

Can you smell the Roses? My Friend gave me a small Rose Plant for my Birthday and the buds are just popping through. They are truely lovely flowers and so many different colours.

Just like my Sweet Peas at the Allotment. I cut my first bunch last night and I was so proud of them. The smell is amazing.....MMM! Couldn't stop Sid eating the PEAS last night though!

Never mind we have picked tons this year. We have a Frog in our Rhubarb as well. He was actually in the Water Well last night, I had to fish him out. Not sure if he wanted to be in there or just jumped in the well by mistake. He is so cute, sitting in my hand. I did have gloves on - Not that brave you know!

- It reminded me to use my UNFROGETTABLE STAMP SET Again, before it Retires for good.

Anyway back to this Project......A Rose Is A Rose Stamp Set is a fabulous one. I know its a biggie but I can tell you now, I am never getting Rid of this Stamp Set! For Sure:-)

The stamp set is a Two Step Stamping one. The Stamp A Ma Jig is an absolute Must. It is a fantastic piece of equipment. There are so many colourways to choose from Stampin UP! but I went for Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Red and Chocolate Chip. The leaves are Old Olive and Always Artichoke.

For the Roses you need to stamp the bolder Rose in Pretty in Pink and then go over it with the Second Rose in Regal Rose. It is an instant Wow! Use the Stamp a Ma Jig to align up the second stamps perfectly.

I made the four cards to go in my Slider Box, I designed especially for this project. The box holds 4 Stampin Up! Whisper White envelopes plus the Four layered Cards.

What a lovely Gift to give Someone......

I still love these Z fold cards. The Old Olive and Rose Red papers go beautifully together.
This is a very simple card. What no Designer paper?

Make your own Designer paper with the two tone colour way of Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose.

With the mix of Chocolate Chip, this Project reminds me a Turkish Delight! Chocolate covered one that seems to slip into my shopping basket from time to time.......:-)

Can you believe its Friday Again! Some one keeps pinching my days lately.
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

I am determinate to get ahead for this Christmas.....Say that every Christmas but I hope to achieve it this year.

The Stamp Set is Scandinavian Season and the Papers are Ski Slope, both available until 30th September from the Mini Catalogue.

We made this cute Gift Box with Hot Chocolate ingredients inside.

A Slider card - Just for Jean :-)

Very Simple designs - Easy to make a few of.

The sentiment is from the Occasional Greetings Stamp Set. Probably easier to punch out the Snowflake but my ladies LOVE to cut out!!! Hee Hee

This is the insert. Just pull on the ribbon and it comes out.

A Very Simple card.
So what are you waiting for? Are you going to be prepared this year?
